 Dr. Christopher Kelley, DC

Dr. Kelley graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 1993 and from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1996. He then worked with his uncle, also a chiropractor in the Bearden area before opening Karns Chiropractic in 2001.

Dr. Kelley specializes in treating a variety of conditions, from chronic low back and neck pain to rehabilitation following an accident or injury. He can also provide information about improving your diet, creating a healthier workplace, and increasing the overall quality of your health.

Dr. Kelley served as team chiropractor for the Knoxville Speed, a former professional hockey team. He also served as Head Lacrosse Coach for Farragut High School and since 2008, Dr. Kelley also helps to coach The University of Tennessee's Lacrosse team.

Our Staff

Mandi Tamura, Licensed Massage Therapist

Mandi, originally from Coalfield, TN, graduated from Coalfield High School in 2004.  She is a single mother with 3 children.  Since July 2006, she has been a stay at home mom while her ex-husband served in the US Army. In July 2012, she moved back to Knoxville, TN after living in Hawaii for four and a half years.  She decided she wanted to become a Massage Therapist and started massage school in August of 2012.  Mandi graduated from Tennessee School of Therapeutic Massage in March of 2013.  She obtained her license as a Licensed Massage Therapist in August of 2013.  She has experience with Chair Massages, Swedish Massage, Prenatal Massage, Myofascial Release, and Aromatherapy.  She is a member of ABMP (Associated Bodyworks & Massage Professionals).  She is also a distributor of Young Living Essential Oils.  At the moment, she is working on expanding my knowledge, skills and certifications of massage therapy. 

Outside of work, Mandi’s world revolves around her children.  When she is able to have time without her children she enjoys retail therapy and trying new foods/restaurants.  Next year, she looks forward to being a football/baseball mom as her sons want to play both the sports.   She is still new to the Knoxville area and still learning what Knoxville has to offer.   


Crystal VanDussen, Office Manager

Crystal grew up in a small town in Michigan.  She graduated high school in 1999, graduated from college in 2006, with her Medical Assisting degree.  She has worked in a variety of settings from a large hospital, to a county jail.  She has a huge passion for people and loves working in the medical field.  She is very excited to a part of Karns Chiropractic Center.

She moved to Knoxville, TN in 2012.  She is married to her husband of 13 years, Jeff.  She has 3 children, 2 boys and 1 girl.  Her daughter loves cheerleading, and her 2 boys play a variety of sports.  Crystal's oldest son will be playing his first year of football for Hardin Valley this season.  Her youngest will be starting his first year of soccer.  Her family is huge MI State fans.  Her family loves being outdoors and spends a lot of time in the mountains.  Her family loves the Knoxville area.
